It sat unmoving, still, observant. It certainly had some sort of organic makeup to it, with a heavy coating of subatomic particles and it's heat, but the tricorder - all too used to carbon-based lifeforms, and some other, rarer ones - just could not discern it as one. Nevertheless, with the very, very slow heave of it's sides, and everything else about it... there was a distinct feeling that what they were looking at, was alive.
T'She, perhaps, could begin to feel a certain sensation of being watched. The creature let out a soft, gentle chime.
